I’m a research assistant and a PhD student at the Computer Engineering Department
of Istanbul Technical University.
Currently working in the research group on language technology at Växjö University,
Sweden. (Jan.-June 2006)

My research areas are:

> Pattern Recognition

I'm currently working on the Dependency Parsing of Turkish. Here is a recent resume of mine.

Recent News:

· We obtained the best results for Turkish in Conll-x shared task (June, 2006).
(On the overall results, we shared the first place together with another group)

· Minisymposium Computational aspects of building an annotated Swedish-Turkish parallel corpus (4-5 May 06).
